Indian nationals do not need a permit for South and East Sikkim (including Gangtok). For North Sikkim (Lachung, Yumthang, Zero Point), a Protected Area Permit (PAP) is required. We arrange this on your behalf — no extra charge.
For Sikkim, March–May (rhododendron blooms) and October–December (clear Himalayan views) are best. For Meghalaya, October–May is ideal for outdoor activities. Monsoon (June–September) brings heavy rainfall in both states.
Accommodation, AC Sumo/vehicle transfers, meals as per itinerary, tour guide, all permits, and listed sightseeing. Kaziranga jeep safaris and entry fees are included unless specified otherwise.

The trek to Nongriat village involves descending and ascending approximately 3,500 stone steps (3 km each way). It takes 2–3 hours each way and requires good physical fitness and proper trekking shoes. Our guides accompany you throughout.
Pack light rainproof jacket, comfortable trekking shoes with grip, insect repellent, personal medication, and a reusable water bottle. Plastic bags are banned in Sikkim so carry cloth bags. ATMs are scarce beyond major towns — carry sufficient cash.
