Ladakh is perfectly safe for tourists. It is an Indian Union Territory with a strong army and police presence. The region is welcoming and crime against tourists is extremely rare. Always follow your guide's instructions regarding altitude and road conditions.
Fly into Leh and rest for 24–48 hours without any strenuous activity. Drink 3–4 litres of water daily, avoid alcohol and sleeping pills for the first 48 hours, and consider Diamox (consult your doctor). We build acclimatisation time into all our Ladakh itineraries.
Accommodation, transportation, meals as per itinerary, tour guide, and Inner Line Permits for Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake are included. Flights to/from Leh are additional.

Only BSNL and Jio networks have coverage in Ladakh. Airtel and Vi have very limited or no coverage beyond Leh city. We recommend purchasing a BSNL or Jio SIM before arriving. Internet is slow in remote areas — download offline maps.
